This summer I had another fantastic opportunity to learn in depth about Marine Biology. The summer program was hosted by Boston Leadership Institute in Wellesley, MA. Boston Leadership Institute is an award-winning summer program for curious high schoolers.
The 3 week program was filled with all sorts of activities like lab work inside and outside the classroom. We stayed at the Olin College of Engineering, a hub for discovery and exploration, my time there was spent proactively learning about not only topics in Marine Biology, but creating and networking with experts in multiple areas of expertise. I had also explored my curiosities and questions with other participants in the program.
