Project - Reuse this box
On any given day, USPS, the United States Postal Service, reports delivering 27 million packages. Fedex delivers 10 million packages and UPS reports 4900 package delivered every second. We are consuming goods (and cardboard boxes) at an unprecedented accelerating pace. Most recycling processes are energy intensive themselves and some days up to 50% of them are non-functional. This means many many millions of boxes end up where they never get recycled.
Use this simple little sticker that you can stick on any cardboard boxes that you reuse and ship out. Spread the message to others. Just send us your name and address and we will send you your first 20 stickers for free. When you are about to run out, just let us know and we will send you the next 20 completely free. We will NOT use your information for any marketing purpose so don’t worry.
Reusing surpasses recycling in environmental impact and sustainability. When items are reused, their lifecycle extends, reducing the demand for new production and diminishing the associated carbon footprint. Unlike recycling, which involves energy-intensive processes and often leads to quality degradation, reusing items conserves resources and minimizes waste. Embracing a reuse mindset promotes a circular economy, fostering a culture of conservation and responsible consumption. This approach not only curtails the disposal of materials but also encourages a more conscious and efficient use of resources, aligning with principles of environmental sustainability. By prioritizing reuse, individuals contribute to a greener, more eco-friendly world.
